Power to You(th)
Power to Yout(th) is an online learning experience for youth workers to explore how to meaningfully engage young people in youth-led activities focussing on empowerment & recognising the value of non formal learning using Erasmus+ Youth/ European Solidarity Corps programme.
Power to You(th) is an online learning experience (training programme) for youth workers and youth leaders to explore how to meaningfully engage young people in youth-led activities focussing on empowerment & recognising the value of non formal learning using Erasmus+ Youth/ European Solidarity Corps programme.
The general aim is to boost and expand the capacity of youth workers and youth leaders to support the empowerment of young people with fewer opportunities and to increase inclusive youth-led participation within their organisation on a long term basis by implementing the new Erasmus+ Youth/European Solidarity Corps projects.
We define empowerment as the learning process in which people become aware of their own potential, learning needs and limitations and the ability to take up their own responsibility to act upon this in a healthy, responsible relationship towards others and the society. This online learning experience is providing a space for youth workers and youth leaders to further explore this concept, specifically for working within the target groups of fewer opportunities.
The objectives are:
· To explore the concept of empowerment, its potential and relevance and the link between empowerment and inclusive youth-led participation
· To reflect on the role of youth workers/youth leaders and the organisations for empowerment of young people with fewer opportunities
· To discover the value of the Erasmus+ Youth Programme/ European Solidarity Corps projects as a tool for youth empowerment and inclusive youth-led participation
· To experience, explore and share inspirational tools, methods and good practices on empowerment which can be transferred to working reality (both face-to-face and online/digital activities)
For the 2022 edition we have designed a fully online learning experience with a strong connection to youthwork reality. The HOP platform will be an essential part of this experience.
The learning experience will be composed of:
· Synchronous meetings: mandatory 6 meetings of up to 2,5 hours each. Optional additional meeting possibilities e.g. for informal socialising, storytelling, expert presentations, open space, coaching etc.
· Asynchronous learning space: Self-study modules, peer support, additional learning offers to go deeper into areas of interest/need, and allow for different learning paths.

Online training "Follow Up! Level Up"
The training course is a blended capacity building activity on how to ensure local impact and local engagement of young people taking part in European and international mobilities through effective follow-up strategies. It is based on the collected best practices and on the results of the research performed by the consortium.
Together, the 20 youth workers will analyse the feedback and inputs from the research phase and they will discuss and share their own expertise on the local impact of learning mobilities and on possible and efficient follow-up strategies and activities. They will analyse the barriers that stop young people from engaging at the local level, and will devise strategies and solutions on how to overcome them. A participatory approach and NFE methodologies will be used.
The objectives of the training
• to identify the gaps in the existing follow-up strategies;
• to revise existing practices and reflect on how to improve them;
• to ponder about the new obstacles that emerged with COVID-19 pandemic
• to consider the real needs of local communities;
• to understand the needs of the young people after the learning mobilities;
• to ideate on how to keep young people’s curiosity, engagement and motivation alive and how to channel it into local participation processes;
• to reflect on which specific measures and systems should be put in place to engage disadvantaged youth in this process;

Leadership as a Vehicle to Youth Participation
An online training course aiming at the creation of a deeper understanding and the gain of competencies within the context of youth-led initiatives and youth participation through different forms of leadership.
BACKGROUND
The challenges that young people are facing are entering a dynamic era that requires youth-led responses and the activation of young people.
The narratives on active citizenship and youth participation have supported European but also international youth work not only with evidence-based conclusions but also with a diversity of guidelines, proposals and practices. Even though numerous tools and initiatives, such as Youth Forums, Digital Platforms and customized youth projects under Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps, have been introduced over the last years with an overarching goal to encourage the active participation of young people in civic society, the reality is still disconcerting, signifying that there is a lot to be done to increase the representation but also the engagement of young people. Unfortunately, specific youth groups' needs are lacking the attention (e.g. youth with fewer opportunities, NEETs, youth not involved in political parties), and young people of those groups lack the necessary support to engage and advocate.
AIM AND OBJECTIVES
The aim of this online Training Course, which targets the needs of young people, teachers, youth leaders, youth workers, coaches, municipalities, NGOs, CSOs and sports clubs is to transfer the understanding of the importance of leadership and initiating principles within youth participation in order to support young people in becoming effective drivers of change within their local, national and European communities.
To achieve this, the project has set up the following objectives:
● To navigate into recent updates and increase interest of youth in participation and active citizenship;
● To explore different forms of leadership and their place within youth work and youth-led projects;
● To transfer competences and learn new tools applicable in the topic of leadership and participation;
● To inspire through successful examples of youth-led participation initiatives;
● To showcase “alternative” leaders operating in a wide realm of fields;
● To offer the space for peering, networking and collaborating.
TRAINING FORMAT & DURATION
Due to the pandemic condition, the training has a duration of 8 days (11th to 18th of December) within which participants will follow 5 morning ZOOM sessions (9:30 to 13:00 Central European Time) and an asynchronous activity (at their own pace within the programme, expected to be a maximum of 1 hour per day) through the SALTO, moodle-based, platform of HOP.
The methodology of the training is the result of the principles of non-formal and experiential learning, enriched through collective and peer learning and enhanced with the use of user-friendly, interactive and fun digital and online learning and collaborating tools. We are certain that the approach of the trainers team and support they can offer, will allow the smooth and active participation of both advanced and new online/digital tools and platforms users.
TARGET GROUP
This activity is for 25 participants including young people, youth workers, youth leaders, coaches, and representatives of municipalities, NGOs, CSOs and sports clubs who already or plan to actively support youth-led activities aiming at a social impact and would like to increase and enrich their understanding of an updated and multidimensional perspective over youth participation and leadership. We expect full participation in the training course, so please study attentively this call and the activity programme.

Youth and Museums #MuseoJoven
The
seminar's goal is to generate new strategies for dialogue and
cooperation between museums and the youth work field. The seminar aims to create a meeting space for youth workers, young
people, and museum professionals with the intention of reflecting upon
their relationship and bringing them closer together.
Following the two previous editions of "Other Museums Generation: Youth at the Museums", the Spanish National Agency for Youth is organizing the seminar “Youth and Museums #MuseoJoven Seminar”.
OBJECTIVES:
Share experiences and analyse the challenges and opportunities in the collaboration between youth professionals, young people, and museums.
Collect experiences and ideas.
Collaboratively design guidelines and recommendations to bring museums closer to the youth population.
Generate synergies between the participants.
METHODOLOGY:
The methodology of the seminar will be based on Non-Formal Education (NFE). One of the principles of NFE is horizontal and peer learning, which means that knowledge is built collectively and trainers function as facilitators for the group process rather than as content providers. In these contexts, diversity of backgrounds, experiences, perspectives contribute to the group´s learning and development. We will learn through dialogue while encouraging critical thinking. NFE is a highly participatory methodology.

YOCOMO Systemic 2021
YOCOMO Systemic is a learning experience that explores the potential of looking at competence development not only from an individual perspective, but also from a systemic perspective.
‘YOCOMO Systemic’ is a learning experience that explores the potential of looking at competence development not only from an individual perspective, but also from a systemic perspective. In this case the system is not a bureaucratic or institutional one; it is rather about having a ‘systemic view’ on the whole field of your practice as a youth worker.
YOCOMO Systemic intends to create a space for you, as a youth worker, to reflect and exchange on your practice using the ETS competence model for youth workers. You will also look at the potential impact the relation between a ‘systemic view’ and ‘competence development’ can have not only on yourself, but also on the systems that you work with and belong to (your organisation, young people, local community, youth work in your country, etc.).
As participant, you will explore:
The ETS competence model for youth workers - its content, origins and intentions.
How to zoom out and see your youth work context as a living system?
What is your role and function in your youth work system?
What does it mean to approach the competence development from a systemic point of view?
What is the potential of the ETS competence model in your youth work context?
How to do a systemic self-assessment and plan your development as a youth worker?
The general approach is based on the principles of non-formal learning and the course strongly supports reflection and self-directed learning.
