BiTriMulti (BTM) - OnlineTraining Course for newcomers in youth exchanges
This training course is designed for voluntary and professional youth workers as well as youth leaders working directly with youngsters who are interested in setting up international youth exchange projects within Erasmus+ programme.

PARTICIPATION
The aim of the BTM training course is to offer an international learning experience to practitioners active in the youth work field, enabling them to develop their competences in setting up quality Youth Exchange projects under the Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme. Nevertheless, because youth exchanges were and are always part of the European youth activities and philosophy, this course will be very useful for the practitioners also after the end of the current Erasmus+ programme format.
OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE:

To provide an introduction to the current Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme and its continuation, focusing on Youth Exchanges and their capacity to enhance young people’s active engagement in the making of Europe, especially (though not exclusively) for newcomers to this and the next Programme;

To offer an individual and group learning experience through an online simulated process on setting up a Youth Exchange project;

To develop the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to organise a Youth Exchange, based on the non-formal learning (NFL) practice, principles, and quality standards of the Erasmus+: Youth in Action;

To enable participants to reflect on their learning and to familiarise themselves with Youthpass – the strategy on the recognition of non-formal learning in the youth field, its technical tool to produce Youthpass Certificates, and its application in Youth Exchanges in particular and the Erasmus+: Youth in Action in general;

To offer the opportunity to meet online possible partners and to make contacts in other countries.
COURSE FORMAT:
The course is designed for online and has a duration of 6 days spread over 2 weeks. There will be 3 days of online learning per week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays), 3 hours per working day of online activities with “home” tasks in between preparing the next steps.

PROJECTLABS
The ProjectLabs Quality is an online training course to train and provide the participants with all required information about European Solidarity Corps and more specifically about Volunteering Projects, in order to be able to design and implement a quality European Solidarity Corps project.

The ProjectLabs Quality includes synchronous online meetings and asynchronous work in a two weeks period. During the ProjectLabs Quality there will be 4 synchronous online meetings on ZOOM (120’ duration each meeting) and asynchronous individual or group tasks on HOP platform.
Objectives of ProjectLabs Quality:
to understand the phases of a project and what gives quality in the project implementation;
to get information about the practicalities around a project (language lessons, CIGNA, communication with the partners, finding accommodation, etc);
to learn about how the budget works;
to share best practice for project management (routines for introduction of volunteers, social mentors, contract with partners, sharing of roles and responsibilities, etc.);
to work on typical challenges in ESC projects;
to get to know the tools for coaching and mentorship for both solidarity and volunteering projects & mental health;
to learn about the documentation and reflection on learning Youthpass, discover methods that can be used;
to reflect on how you could supporting volunteers with fewer opportunities

Background
The SNAC “New Power in Youth” is a strategic partnership of nine National Agencies and three SALTO Resource Centres which aims to foster youth civic engagement and participation in democratic life. This Training of Trainers supports this aim by empowering and increasing the competencies of trainers on Youth Participation, in the frame of the EU Youth Strategy, the new programme cycle of Erasmus + and European Solidarity Corps, and the Youth Participation Strategy.
The National Agencies involved in SNAC will support and collaborate with trainers participating during the preparation, delivery, and follow-up of this training course.
Aim
This educational opportunity in its entirety (online training course with synchronous and asynchronous elements, plus follow-up coaching) will seek to further and systematically carry the provisions of the European Youth Participation Strategy forward especially through the enhancement of the National Strategies for Participation and also through the participants’ future involvement within the (inter)national youth work and training field.
Objectives
Get a deeper understanding of the European Youth Participation Strategy and its role within the EU Youth Strategy (2019 - 2027) and the European Youth Goals.
Elaborate on, exchange and analyze concepts and practices focused on youth participation, whether in its conventional or ‘alternative’ forms.

What is this course about?
The online course "Training for Mentors in ESC”, organised by the Hellenic National Agency Erasmus+/ Youth & European Solidarity Corps, aims, through its 6 (six) sessions, to enable participants to develop their competence of mentoring, through enhanced modes of training delivery and also through sharing, exchange and the construction of common understanding and goals among mentors.

INTRODUCTION
The online condition that took over within the last year and a half has brought light to the added value offered by online and digital tools and platforms within learning processes. Online formats are slowly transferred to blended formats where residential presence and the digital environments come together with the potential of maximising the learning effect. This training identifies the trends, explores the possibilities and equips participants with the necessary tools for this new era.
AIM & OBJECTIVES
The aim is to equip participants with the necessary competences including knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours but also approaches, tools, and methods that are necessary to implement activities within Erasmus+ Youth in Action and European Solidarity Corps within an online and blended formats of learning.
The objectives include:
Identify and reflect over global challenges that affect learning environments
Define and understand online-offline and synchronous-asynchronous learning, intensive-extensive learning formats and blended learning as a result of combining different formats.
Assess own digital competences and Increase knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours including meeting/discussion/debriefing facilitations, enforcing collective knowledge and peer learning, managing team online learning dynamics, face online challenges and conflicts, presentation and communication skills, self-assessment and evaluation, motivating inspiring and giving ownership to learning processes.
Create awareness on Digicomp and European Trainers Competence Model as the basis for the necessary competences needed in the field.
Explore and practice (with a feedback process) small workshops using new digital and online tools and methods.
Reflect on the role of trainers within online learning environments.
Develop self-care approach of trainers and participants within online learning environments.
Offer the space for networking, synergizing, collaborating and exchanging.
TARGET GROUP
The training is open for professional and volunteer youth workers, trainers, learning facilitators, team leaders, that would like to maximize the impact of their work by embracing the digitalisation era within learning. Participants are expected to commit fully to the timeline and activities of the training since the course will offer asynchronous (HOP) and synchronous (ZOOM) moments for interaction.
Participants must be over 18 years old.
ACTIVITY DATES
The training starts on Friday 19th of November and ends Friday 17th of December. WIthin this timeline there will be 8 ZOOM sessions and 3 coaching moments but also the asynchronous activities in HOP. Please have an attentive look at the programme attached.

“Digital transformation for youth organizations" is a journey with many stops and continuous learning. It was developed to introduce youth organisations to the digital age and to train them to acquire their own digital footprint, which will have multiplier benefits in the impact of the Programme.
